Robert M Knox
President & CEO

Mr. Knox has served as President and Board Chairman since the company was founded in 1974. He has provided management and technical direction for the company focus on millimeter wave technology.  The roots of his background in millimeter wave systems were developed with his previous employer IIT Research Institute in Chicago.  Prior to his nine years with IITRI he contributed to microwave research activity at Rockwell Collins and Hughes Aircraft Company. He completed course work for the PhDEE degree at Illinois Institute of Technology after receiving a MEE degree from University of Southern California and BEE from University of Minnesota. He has been an author of nine US patents bearing on millimeter wave integrated circuits, components and systems.

 

Sam Luo
Chief Engineer & VP in Asian Business

Dr. Luo is familiar with all processes of short range, higher resolution radar from R&D, production to application market. He got BSEE and MSEE degrees from University of Science and Technology of China in 1982and 1986, and obtained PhD EE degree from UESTC of China in 1989. He had been working for more than 10 years in different institutions of communication, radar and electronics in China before he joined ELEC. As a chief engineer of ELEC since 1997, he has focused on microwave and millimeter wave technology, which including varies components, function units, subsystem and system in radar and communication field. He is a major designer of more than tens FMCW radar models from 5.8GHz to 100GHz, which worked as prototype CW radar and ACC radar for many famous companies in Europe and North America.   

 

Sharie Gerken
Quality Controller

30 years service with Epsilon Lambda Electronics Corp. Ms. Gerken is in charge of assembly operations and product quality supervision as well as production methods, documentation and employee training.
